Vulcan Completion Products has unveiled the first in a new series of casing and completion innovations scheduled for release throughout 2026. Leading this next‑generation lineup is PROBE™: MAGMA-SEAL, an advanced HPHT casing shoe system engineered to deliver reliable isolation, enhanced pressure integrity and simplified completion design for modern fracturing operations.



Developed entirely in‑house, PROBE™: MAGMA-SEAL combines Vulcan’s proven casing shoe architecture with a robust latch‑in plug mechanism, creating a streamlined wet shoe solution capable of withstanding the extreme pressures and temperatures of today’s most demanding wells.


Engineered for HPHT Reliability



Designed for uncompromising performance, PROBE™: MAGMA-SEAL is rated to:


• 12,500 psi differential pressure.

• 200°C (400°F) operating temperature.

• 10,000 psi working pressure.

• 15,000 psi development programme underway.


Its slick‑body profile reduces drag during casing run‑in, while the internal flow path is optimised to minimise turbulence and maintain consistent performance during displacement and pressure testing.

Component Spotlight: Dual Steel Poppet Valves


At the heart of PROBE™: MAGMA-SEAL's pressure integrity system are dual non‑cemented steel poppet valves, engineered to deliver dependable sealing performance in HPHT environments.

Non‑cemented design. Eliminates cement‑bond dependency, ensuring consistent valve function regardless of cement quality or placement.
